Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in the evaluation of the crossProviderNamespaces allowlist within the Kubernetes Gateway provider. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to internal services by creating an HTTPRoute in a non-allow-listed namespace that references a TraefikService in an allow-listed namespace, provided a matching ReferenceGrant exists. This is only exploitable if the attacker can create an accepted HTTPRoute and a corresponding ReferenceGrant from an allow-listed namespace.
