Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource due to improper file permission settings on the settings.json file, which stores sensitive credentials in plaintext. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to confidential platform tokens by reading the file from another local user account on the same system.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by manually setting restrictive permissions on the affected files and directories using 'chmod 600' for the file and 'chmod 700' for the directory. This process must be repeated after any operation that recreates the file.
