Overview

go.etcd.io/etcd/v3 is a distributed reliable key-value store for the most critical data of a distributed system

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation due to improper validation of TLS endpoints. An attacker can intercept or manipulate secure communications by exploiting the lack of proper endpoint verification, effectively allowing connections to an endpoint that doesn't accept TLS connections through the HTTPS URL.
