Upgrade go.temporal.io/server/service/frontend to version 1.27.4, 1.28.2, 1.29.2 or higher.
Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization when the frontend.enableExecuteMultiOperation is enabled. An attacker can circumvent namespace-specific validation and feature gates by setting the embedded StartWorkflowExecutionRequest's namespace field to a different namespace than the authorized one, bypassing intended limits and policies.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by setting frontend.enableExecuteMultiOperation to false.
