Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure when users are using a malicious or compromised third-party buildpack which can then expose their registry credentials or local docker socket to a malicious lifecycle
container.
Note: This issue only affects users who are using function buildpacks from third-parties.
If users cannot upgrade to the fixed version, it is recommended to pin the builder image to a specific content hash with a valid lifecycle image to mitigate the attack.
