Upgrade sigs.k8s.io/aws-load-balancer-controller/pkg/deploy/wafv2 to version 2.8.2 or higher.
Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource due to the absence of specific WebACL annotations on Ingress objects. An attacker can exploit this behavior to automatically disassociate WebACLs from ALBs, potentially leaving them unprotected.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the WebACL management feature using the --enable-waf and --enable-wafv2 command-line flags (Documentation can be found here)
