Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Infinite loop.

Go Vulnerability Report:
via the crypto/elliptic process. An attacker can cause excessive CPU consumption or potentially recover private keys by supplying specially crafted inputs through mechanisms such as TLS handshakes, X.509 certificates, JWT tokens, ECDH shares, or ECDSA signatures. This is only exploitable if an ECDH private key is reused more than once.
