www.velocidex.com/golang/velociraptor/http_comms is an advanced digital forensic and incident response tool

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Symlink Attack. Temporary local buffer files are named predictably, so an attacker could replace one with a symlink and force a race condition in which the malicious file was read instead of the legitimate one.

NOTE: This vulnerability is only exploitable on macOS and Linux operating systems.
