Overview
bandit is a HTTP server for Plug and WebSock apps.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the Bandit.HTTP2.Connection function. An attacker can exhaust server resources and cause processes to be pinned indefinitely by sending HTTP/2 requests with response bodies that exceed the connection-level send window, queuing data and blocking stream processes. This is achieved by granting a large stream-level window, sending responses that surpass the connection window, and keeping the connection alive with periodic PING frames, preventing timeouts and resource cleanup.
