The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion via 'jose_jwk:shared_secret/2' (exposed in Elixir as JOSE.JWK.shared_secret/2) derives an ECDH shared secret from two JWKs. When provided with two JWKs of differing key types (such as EC and RSA), its fallback clause repeatedly re-invokes itself with the unchanged inputs, triggering an infinite tail-recursive loop that never terminates or crashes. An unauthenticated attacker supplying a mismatched public key can trap an Erlang scheduler at 100% CPU usage, rapidly exhausting all available schedulers and causing a denial of service.
