Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound in ProtobufParser.java. An attacker can crash the process with an OutOfMemoryError by sending a Protobuf message of about 33 bytes with a string or bytes length near Integer.MAX_VALUE, which bypasses the bounds check and makes the parser allocate an array of that size. Only services that parse untrusted Protobuf input are exposed, and neither heap tuning nor StreamReadConstraints limits the allocation.
