Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Start learningThere is no fixed version for com.squareup:connect
.
com.squareup:connect is a stack of middleware that is executed in order in each request.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Temporary File. The method prepareDownloadFilecreates
creates a temporary file with the permissions bits of -rw-r--r--
on unix-like systems. On unix-like systems, the system temporary directory is shared between users. As such, the contents of the file downloaded by downloadFileFromResponse
will be visible to all other users on the local system.
A workaround fix for this issue is to set the system property java.io.tmpdir
to a safe
directory as remediation.
Note: This version of the SDK is end of life and no longer maintained, please upgrade to the latest version.
