CWE-297  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for com.xiaomi.infra.galaxy:galaxy-fds-sdk-android.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch due to the GalaxyFDSClientImpl.createHttpClient() function. An attacker can intercept and modify communications by performing a man-in-the-middle attack when TLS hostname verification is disabled.

Note: This is only exploitable if the default configuration is used with HTTPS enabled.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by removing the assignment to ALLOW_ALL_HOSTNAME_VERIFIER and using the default STRICT_HOSTNAME_VERIFIER in the SSLSocketFactory.
