How to fix?

Upgrade io.smallrye:smallrye-fault-tolerance-core to version 6.9.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improperly Controlled Sequential Memory Allocation when Guard or TypeGuard objects are created in the GuardImpl and TypeGuardImpl classes in the metrics component. If these objects are created with no description, memory is allocated indefinitely, and random UUIDs are assigned to the metrics' method tags. An attacker can cause an OOM and crash by repeatedly sending requests to this URI.
