The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

io.vertx:vertx-core is a tool-kit for building reactive applications on the JVM.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the client SSL context cache of the SslContextManager class, whose cache key compared only the key and trust options and CRL values, omitting the hostname identification algorithm, client auth setting, enabled cipher suites, enabled transport protocols, and CRL paths. An attacker positioned to intercept the connection can impersonate the server, since a request for a context with hostname validation can be served a cached context that ignores it. This requires the process to have already created client SSL options that differ from the intended ones only in the omitted fields, so that a weaker context is present in the cache when the stronger one is requested.
