How to fix?

Upgrade org.apache.camel:camel-elasticsearch-rest-client to version 4.14.8, 4.18.3, 4.21.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key via the ElasticSearchRestClientConstant header names and ElasticsearchRestClientEndpointBuilderFactory producer headers. An attacker can override the Elasticsearch query, operation, index name, index settings, or document ID by sending untrusted HTTP requests with SEARCH_QUERY, OPERATION, INDEX_NAME, INDEX_SETTINGS, or ID headers. When a route exposes an HTTP endpoint in front of this producer, those headers pass Camel’s inbound HTTP header filtering unchanged, and the producer uses them directly, letting the attacker change the search body, delete documents, or read data the route owner did not intend to expose.
