Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') in the process that maps CloudEvent extension fields onto message headers without applying any header filter strategy in structured content mode. An attacker can override internal headers and manipulate message routing by injecting malicious CloudEvent extension fields in a structured-mode CloudEvent request. This can lead to unauthorized actions such as server-side request forgery, path traversal, or message redirection when messages are forwarded to header-driven components.
