Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through local storage system. Large stream based messages are stored as temporary files which can be exploited to cause a denial of service attack by triggering an out of memory exception. Additionally to the resource exhaustion, the issue of reading and then logging entire files without encryption can lead to exposure of sensitive credentials into logs.
