Overview

org.apache.hadoop:hadoop-common is a framework that allows for the distributed processing of large data sets across clusters of computers using simple programming models.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control. A remote user who can authenticate with the HDFS NameNode can possibly run arbitrary commands with the same privileges as the HDFS service.
