Overview
org.apache.httpcomponents.client5:httpclient5 is a HttpClient component of the Apache HttpComponents project.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation due to the HostnameVerificationPolicy#BUILTIN setting having no effect in the async transport. An attacker can impersonate a server by intercepting and modifying traffic, presenting a valid certificate for a different domain.
