Overview

org.apache.nifi:nifi-shell-authorizer is an Apache NiFi is an easy to use, powerful, and reliable system to process and distribute data.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection in the non-default ShellUserGroupProvider, which allows arbitrary arguments to be passed in to group resolution commands by privileged users when running on Linux or macOS systems.

NOTE: This vulnerability can be worked around by disabling ShellUserGroupProvider.
