Overview

org.apache.qpid:qpid-broker-core is a package that manages Broker core functionality and initial configuration.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) via improper handling of compressed data in the shared GZIP decompressor used for AMQP message delivery, message conversion, and HTTP management JSON rendering. An attacker can exhaust memory and disrupt broker availability by sending specially crafted compressed messages without a decompressed-output limit.
