Overview

org.apache.tomcat:tomcat is an implementation of the Java Servlet, JavaServer Pages, Java Expression Language and Java WebSocket technologies.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Default Initialization of Resource due to unclear documentation regarding the secure configuration of the EncryptInterceptor. An attacker can compromise the intended security controls by exploiting misconfigurations resulting from insufficient guidance.

Note: Older, unsupported versions may also be affected.
