Upgrade org.cometd.java:cometd-java-server-common to version 5.0.23, 6.0.19, 7.0.19, 8.0.9 or higher.
Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Resource Shutdown or Release via the acknowledgement extension process. An attacker can exhaust server memory resources by continuously sending requests with a fixed batch value, causing the unacknowledged message queue to grow indefinitely and potentially resulting in a server outage.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the acknowledgement extension.
