Overview
org.elasticsearch:elasticsearch is a Distributed, RESTful Search Engine.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via a delegated administrative privilege whose scope is not fully enforced during authorization checks. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to restricted indices, including internal security data, by updating their own assigned role through a broadly-scoped index pattern. This can result in escalation up to full administrative control of the cluster.
