Overview

org.jenkins-ci.main:jenkins-core is an open source automation server.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Authorization via the core/src/main/java/hudson/security/AuthenticationProcessingFilter2.java functionality that allows attackers to extend the duration of active HTTP sessions indefinitely even though the user account may have been deleted. Exploiting this vulnerability is possible due to invalidating the session or 'Remember me' cookie of the user.
