How to fix?

A fix was pushed into the master branch but not yet published.

Overview

org.jenkins-ci.main:jenkins-core is an open source automation server.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Creation of Temporary File With Insecure Permissions when a build is triggered from the Jenkins CLI. A temporary file is written in the default temporary directory, which may be overly permissive. If so, local users can read and write the file before it is used in the build.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be avoided by setting a different path as the default temporary directory, using the java.io.tmpdir system property.
