CWE-352  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for org.jenkins-ci.plugins:cons3rt.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Request Forgery (CSRF). CONS3RT Plugin 1.0.0 and earlier does not perform permission checks in methods implementing form validation. This allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified HTTP server using attacker-specified credentials IDs obtained through another method, capturing credentials stored in Jenkins.Additionally, these form validation methods do not require POST requests, resulting in a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. As of publication of this advisory, there is no fix.

NOTE: This vulnerability has also been identified as: CVE-2022-41253
