Overview

org.keycloak:keycloak-common is an Open Source Identity and Access Management For Modern Applications and Services.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use of Non-Canonical URL Paths for Authorization Decisions in the PathMatcher class in common/src/main/java/org/keycloak/common/util/PathMatcher.java. An attacker can make a restricted resource fall through to a less restrictive policy by sending a request URI with a trailing slash or matrix parameters. This lets an authenticated user reach administrative or other protected areas that should have been denied under the intended resource match.
