How to fix?

Upgrade org.neo4j:neo4j-bolt to version 5.26.15, 2025.1.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Sensitive Information in Resource Not Removed Before Reuse in the Bolt protocol handshake. An attacker can obtain one byte of information from previous connections by sending crafted requests during the protocol negotiation phase. The attacker has no control over the specific information leaked in server responses.

Note:

The issue is not applicable to AuraDB – Neo4j Fully Managed Cloud Service.
