Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Directory Traversal. via improper validation of file paths received from FTP, SFTP, or SMB servers. A malicious or compromised server can write arbitrary files outside the configured local download directory by supplying crafted file paths during file transfer operations. This may allow overwriting or creating files at attacker-chosen locations on the client filesystem with attacker-controlled content.
