Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Generation of Predictable IV with CBC Mode via AesBytesEncryptor when using the two-argument constructor or specifying a null IV generator with CBC mode. An attacker can correlate encrypted values, determine when two records share the same plaintext, and mount dictionary attacks by pre-encrypting candidate values and comparing the results if they have read access to the encrypted data store.
