Overview
org.springframework.security:spring-security-ldap is a package that provides a comprehensive programming and configuration model for modern Java-based enterprise applications - on any kind of deployment platform.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Binding to an Unrestricted IP Address via the UnboundIdContainer process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive data and modify directory entries by authenticating with a well-known administrative credential over the LDAP listener port. This is only exploitable if the application is configured to use UnboundIdContainer and the LDAP listener port is accessible from the attacker's network position (i.e., not restricted to localhost by firewall or network policy).
