org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-realtime-ui is a variety of wiki pages providing configuration and services for real-time editors.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) via the realtime HTML Converter API. An attacker can execute arbitrary code with the interaction of an admin user that has programming rights by getting an admin user to either visit a crafted URL or to view an image with this URL that could be in a comment. This compromises the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the whole installation.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by updating RTFrontend.ConvertHTML
following this patch. However, this may break some synchronization processes in the realtime editor, so upgrading should be the preferred method on installations where this editor is used.
