Overview
@appium/support is a Support libs used across Appium packages
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Symlink Attack via the ZIP extraction logic in zip.ts when processing archive entries that contain symlinks pointing outside the destination directory. An attacker who supplies a malicious ZIP archive can include a symlink whose target resolves to a path outside the intended extraction root, causing subsequent file writes to land at arbitrary filesystem locations controlled by the attacker.
