Overview

aws-cdk-lib is a Version 2 of the AWS Cloud Development Kit library

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the OsCommand helper in the Docker bundling process. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the host running the toolchain by injecting shell metacharacters into dependency version strings in the package.json file. This is only exploitable if the attacker can control the content of a dependency version string that is processed during Docker-based bundling with nodeModules specified.
