Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Unintended Proxy or Intermediary ('Confused Deputy') via improper enforcement of maxRedirects: 0 in the fetch adapter, where user-supplied fetchOptions are merged into the resolved request options without defaulting the redirect field. When a caller sets maxRedirects: 0 to prevent redirects, the fetch adapter does not apply redirect: 'manual' unless the caller also explicitly sets fetchOptions.redirect, causing the underlying fetch runtime to silently follow a 302 redirect from the initial target and forward the request - including any credentials or sensitive headers - to the redirect destination, which may be attacker-controlled.
Note: This is only exploitable when requests are configured with maxRedirects: 0 but without fetchOptions.redirect: 'manual' or an equivalent runtime-specific redirect control.
