@backstage/plugin-auth-backend-module-cloudflare-access-provider is a The cloudflare-access-provider backend module for the auth plugin.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature via the jwtVerify call in helpers.ts, which verifies Cloudflare Access JWTs against the issuer but omits validation of the audience (aud) claim. An attacker who holds a valid Cloudflare Access JWT issued for a different application under the same team can present that token and gain authenticated access, because the token passes signature and issuer checks without the audience being verified.
