@backstage/plugin-techdocs-backend is a The Backstage backend plugin that renders technical documentation for your components
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Relative Path Traversal via the /static/docs/:namespace/:kind/:name route handler in router.ts, where the isPathWithinEntity function fails to account for backslash-encoded traversal sequences when validating the requested content path. An authenticated attacker can craft a request containing backslash characters to escape the intended entity directory and read TechDocs content belonging to other entities, bypassing entity-level permission checks.
Note: This is only exploitable when using the Azure Blob Storage provider and when entity-level permissions are enabled.
