How to fix?

Upgrade better-auth to version 1.6.13, 1.7.0-beta.4 or higher.

Overview

better-auth is a The most comprehensive authentication library for TypeScript.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Open Redirect via the redirectURI value returned from the consent response in the authorization flow. An attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the authorization server's origin by registering a client with a crafted javascript: URI and tricking a user into approving consent, leading to exposure of session data and potential account takeover.

Note: This is only exploitable if the consent page assigns the returned redirectURI to a browser navigation target such as window.location.href, location.assign, or location.replace.
