Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the --workspace argument on Windows systems. An attacker can execute arbitrary operating system commands by supplying specially crafted input to the --workspace parameter when invoking the CLI. This is only exploitable if the tool is run on a Windows host and the attacker can influence the value passed to --workspace.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by setting the environment variable npm_execpath to a npm-cli.js before invoking the tool or by avoiding passing untrusted values to the --workspace option.
