Overview

developer_backup_test523 is a malicious package. This package performs exfiltration of sensitive developer data like source code and configuration files. It gathers the current OS username and the current working directory, then sends an HTTP GET request to http://185.62.57.60:8000/http with the gathered information as URL query parameters. It searches through directories on the machine where it's running, looking for files with specific extensions or in specific directories. Afterwards, it creates ZIP archives of the directories it finds and attempts to upload these archives to an FTP server with IP address 185.62.57.60 using the username root and password TestX@!#33.
