The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

electron is a framework which lets you write cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Privilege Assignment via WebContents::OpenURLFromTab in shell/browser/api/electron_api_web_contents.cc, which failed to propagate sandbox flags when a popup was opened by a sandboxed top-level frame. Previously, sandbox flag inheritance was conditional on the initiating frame having a parent, meaning a top-level frame carrying sandbox flags (via a Content-Security-Policy: sandbox header or a sandboxed iframe's popup) could open a new window without those restrictions applied. An attacker controlling content in such a frame can escape the sandbox and gain elevated access to the renderer context, achieving high confidentiality impact and limited integrity impact across the security boundary.
