How to fix?

Upgrade electron to version 26.6.4, 27.2.1 or higher.

Overview

electron is a framework which lets you write cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free via a crafted image file where colorProperties could be pointing to a dangling pointer if findAlphaItem() resizes the meta.items array. An attacker can potentially exploit heap corruption by inducing the application to reference memory after it has been freed.
