@element-hq/element-call-embedded is a NPM package containing an embedded build of the Element Call widget.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File in the analytics reporting process. An attacker can obtain sensitive information by accessing analytics data that includes full URLs of visited pages, potentially exposing confidential details such as encryption passwords if they are present in the URL fragment. This is only exploitable if analytics reporting is enabled and the PostHog server is accessible to unauthorized parties.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by opting out of analytics in the application's settings or by disabling PostHog analytics in the deployment configuration.
