Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the additionalConfig input to the TypeORM DataSource class, which allows arbitrary options to be set. An attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution on the server by uploading a malicious JavaScript file and configuring the application to load it as an entity, resulting in full compromise of the application. This is only exploitable if an authenticated user is able to supply arbitrary configuration options to the TypeORM DataSource.
