Overview

ghost is a publishing platform

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload via the bookmark card image handling in oembed-service.js, where the file extension used to name a stored image is derived from the attacker-controlled URL rather than the actual file contents. An authenticated attacker can supply a URL pointing to a file with a misleading extension, causing the stored file to be served with an incorrect Content-Type that bypasses the image upload allowlist, leading to high-impact confidentiality and integrity compromise.
