How to fix?

Upgrade @hono/node-server to version 2.1.3 or higher.

Overview

@hono/node-server is a Node.js Adapter for Hono

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Double Decoding of the Same Data via the serveStatic middleware in src/serve-static.ts, where a percent-encoded path sequence in a request URL is decoded by tryDecodeURI before the path traversal check is applied. An attacker can supply a percent-encoded traversal sequence (e.g. %2e%2e) in the request path to escape the intended static file root and read arbitrary files from the server's filesystem.
