Overview

kibana is an open source (Apache Licensed), browser-based analytics and search dashboard for Elasticsearch.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine in the Workflows module. An attacker with the workflowsManagement:executeWorkflow privilege can access arbitrary files on the server and initiate unauthorized requests to internal or external systems by injecting specially crafted elements into the template engine.
