Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the ES|QL query evaluation. An attacker can exhaust available query worker resources by submitting specially crafted queries that cause exponential CPU consumption, resulting in unavailability of ES|QL queries until the node is restarted.
Note: This is only exploitable if the attacker is an authenticated user.
